Wallhangings & Small quilts

Jars *		1992
	I made this wallhanging because I wanted to practice my hand quilting on something small, but didn't want all my effort going to waste on a just a scrap of material! The jars were printed on some fabric with lace effect shelves, I cut out each jar machine appliquéd them with a satin stitch on to some calico, added the borders & quilted it.

Corners in The Cabin *		1992
	I bought one of those four fat Quarter packs & then wondered what to do with it - This block seemed ideal, I love the effect & would have made more than four blocks but I ran out of fabric and couldn't get any more! I remember thinking it quite time consuming, but as I liked everything to be started & finished very quickly then, maybe I should try this block again now when I have a little more patience!
